Linda Gray, Jim Gillespie and Neil Kurz share highlights of the CLG meeting

PodcastRepresentatives of Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) and Home Inspectors (HIs) met with Ruth Kelly - Minister for Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) - yesterday (Mon 11th June 2007) to discuss their current plight and future prospects since the department's announcement to delay the introduction of HIPs until 1st August 2007.

Linda Gray, Jim Gillespie, Neil Kurz, Jackie Oliver and Dave Thompson were amongst two other industry representatives (BRE and IMBM) invited to meet with Ruth Kelly to discuss the way-ahead in a meeting scheduled to last 45 minutes.

In this podcast, three of the delegates - Linda, Jim and Neil - share their personal thoughts on what came out of the meeting with the DCLG and the imminent practicalities of rolling-out HIPs and EPCs nationally between now and 2008.
