Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 22-Nov-07 09:14:12 AM

Alex Field of Precision Energy Assessors (AKA Energywise) and Jackie Oliver of Jackie Oliver & Co Estate Agents (AKA THI) are two widely-known women in the DEA community who know their minds, and don't mind speaking them freely.

Which is just as well because there has been much to speak about this week.

Many thanks to both Alex and Jackie.

Show-Notes

Loads of news has happened since the last podcast. We've had many highs and lows in the last week:

AHIPP: Shame!

Quidos: We have a recorded statement (transcript) from Philip Salaman (Managing Director) on the ongoing troubles between HES and Quidos

Habitus: the appointment of "crisis management" consultants, Interco Associates

Grant Shapps: - Tory Shadow Housing Minister - and his call for a meeting of Domestic Energy Assessors.

Gordon Brown's speech and new green policy announcements: (I used an incorrect name to refer to the new Green Homes Service) What about privacy? What about compulsion?

Working Lunch: A tip o' the hat to David Thompson and Chris Evans (Training Providers slammed in the media)

HIPs: Lots of interesting HIP talk plus, of course... The full market roll-out of Home Information Packs (HIPs) on 14th December

Oh yeah, much much more...

Alex pimped the Low Carbon Group (LCG) website:

LCG is a not-for-profit organisation of Domestic Energy Assessors and Home Inspectors
