Quidos has finally put an end to its near week-long Twitter tease and announced it is to offer free lodgement fees to new members for the month of February, whilst existing members will pay reduced fees of £2.50.

The promotion marks the launch of its new RdSAP online software calculation tool called iQ-Energy. More details: iQ-Energy.

EPC v Passivhaus – The Clash of Standards

After a bit more digging, I found the originator of yesterday’s “tweet” on the EPC v Passivhaus Clash of Standards. It was made by Mark Tiramani (MarkTiramani) on Twitter, who describes himself as a ‘Passivhaus collector”, whatever that means.

after wrestling with software that simply does not understand truly low-energy building we at last got a SAP->EPC output. Result: a "C"
