Pinpoint EPC Statements Made in Parliament

Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 27-May-07 01:25:36 AM

If you want to keep tabs on - or need to research - what has been said about energy performance certificates in the House of Commons or Lords, then you'll find the Parliament Chatter-Tracker very useful - I know I will.

It lists snippets from any statements (written and oral) made by ministers and Lord's regarding EPCs going all the way back to 2003 in date order.

I know when I've wanted to ever find what a minister said on a certain date, it's usually involved a time-consuming search; first in Google; then maybe within a few other documents again.

None of that here: By clicking the link associated with a snippet, you are taken straight to the relevant sentence within the speech, saving you loads of time scanning documents that can be quite lengthy.

Happy Birthday HIPs

Sunday, August, 1st, 2010 at 12:00am
Description: On this day in 2007, Energy Performance Certificates became a mandatory requirement on 4 bed homes and larger marketed for sale. This was after a controversial delay because of insufficient numbers of Domestic Energy Assessors. Four months later and there were twice the number required... and still growing.

The calendar for these events is unavailable. Probably because there are no events to report. If you have a compliant CPD event, let me know through the contact page.
