Look-up boiler details on-the-job

Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 04-Jul-07 03:20:21 PM

Steve Gomm - an accredited DEA - has been workng hard to ease the burden of Domestic Energy Assessors looking for the correct boiler information whilst performing the Energy Performance Certificate survey in the client's home.

He's single-handedly programmed software for use within PDAs that looks-up the boiler details on the SEDBUK database... and he's made it free!

UltraSEDBUK Express

UltraSEDBUK Express. uses the same boiler database files as used by commercial EPC and HCR systems.

Nice one Steve - I'm sure it will prove most useful to lots of DEAs.

Does anyone know if "UltraSEDBUK Express" still exist?

Hi Lev - Sorry for the delay.

I contacted Steve who gave me a new link to find the software. I've edited the above link so you can download it there.

Steve tells me that the software will work until the end of 2008. He is not sure if he will update it beyond this time, however.
