New stricter regime may threaten some schemes

Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 06-Jan-10 01:29:14 PM

Just before the xmas break I was tipped-off that the CLG had sent out new standards and procedures for accreditation schemes to follow – I’m sure that must have been a welcome festive read!

From the limited information I have to-hand at this moment, it sounds fairly wide-sweeping in its reform and may even threaten the survival of some schemes if they fail to comply.

I’m chasing this up so will post a more in-depth follow-up tomorrow – all things being equal. Stay tuned.

Happy Birthday HIPs

Sunday, August, 1st, 2010 at 12:00am
Description: On this day in 2007, Energy Performance Certificates became a mandatory requirement on 4 bed homes and larger marketed for sale. This was after a controversial delay because of insufficient numbers of Domestic Energy Assessors. Four months later and there were twice the number required... and still growing.

The calendar for these events is unavailable. Probably because there are no events to report. If you have a compliant CPD event, let me know through the contact page.
