EPC Provider increasing workforce to 250 DEAs

Submitted by: MikeC (Admin) on 10-Sep-07 05:45:21 PM

It was only a couple of weeks ago since Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd announced a major contract with Countrywide.

Following on from that, on the same day Home Information Packs (HIPs) on 3-bed homes and larger became mandatory, they are beginning the second wave of their recruitment drive to expand its current DEA workforce of 102 assessors, to over 250 within the next 12 months.

Alex Rodgers - Head of Operations - informs me that they are looking for both qualified DEA's and HI's from all over England and Wales. They will also consider those currently in training, or about to train.

"We have been getting a high number of instructions from all of our clients with a good national spread. We are now looking to ramp-up those numbers after today's release of 3 bed properties."

Christopher Rodgers are offering both fully employed positions, or you can opt for their zero hours contract.

To arrange an interview you can email either:

Alex Rodgers:
a.rodgers@chrisrodgers.co.uk

or

Paula Garlick:
p.garlick@chrisrodgers.co.uk

They will be holding interview days nationally over the coming weeks/months.

As you (should) know, Alex Rodgers was on the podcast a couple of months ago as my first guest to speak from the perspective of a major player as an EPC Provider.

EPC Anniversary - 3 bed homes

Friday, September, 10th, 2010 at 12:00am
Description: Energy Performance Certificates on all 3 bed homes marketed for sale in England and Wales were first introduced as a legal requirement on this day in 2007, marking the second phase of their controversial implementation. Around this period the first signs of what became known as the Credit Crunch began to take effect after a run-on UK bank, Northern Rock, saw queues of panicked savers outside local branches desperate to withdraw life savings - this would ultimately signal a major change in mortgage availability as banks restricted inter-bank borrowing.

The calendar for these events is unavailable. Probably because there are no events to report. If you have a compliant CPD event, let me know through the contact page.
