D Hickman Property Inspections is a sole trader company focused on providing a professional service to business and individual clients in the Greater Manchester and North Cheshire Area. I qualified as a Home Inspector after completing an 18 month course provided by ABBE in association with Birmingham City University. Whilst studying I achieved many skills and techniques used in home inspecting, and I plan to continue professional development in order to provide a more comprehensive service to clients. I provide Home Condition Surveys (HCS’s) and residential Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s). The Home Condition Survey (HCS) is a clear and concise report on the condition of a domestic property. It allows the homebuyer to make an informed decision, quicker than by conventional surveys, and at a fraction of the usual cost. The HCS makes the home survey process quicker, easier and more cost-effective. An EPC gives home owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency of their property. It gives the building a standard energy and carbon emission efficiency grade from ‘A’ to ‘G’ (where ‘A’ is best) and advice on cost effective improvements to improve the current rating.
