Someone at Quidos will have had a good roasting today, I suspect. This, because the Winding-Up Order it filed against HES was today knocked-back, according to a post on the HomeInspectorForum.

Quidos vs HES: 137 DEA Accreditations Suspended

After stating that all DEAs caught-up in the Quidos vs HES dispute were "safe", Quidos has now discovered they are legally-obliged to suspend accreditations following the revelation that HES holds no valid Professional Indemnity insurance for its sub-contracting DEAs... What next!

Quidos Podcast Statement (Transcript)

Quidos issued a recorded statement to the DEA Podcast saying a Winding-up Petition has been issued to put HES into administration. It also re-assures affected DEAs that certificates and accreditations will not be with-held plus calls for industry self-regulation of Training Providers!

Home Energy Surveys Ltd (HES) have hit back at last night's statement from Quidos citing invoices were raised incorrectly. However, part-payment is promised Monday. Is this enough to free the hostage DEAs?
