Domestic Energy Assessor Suspended by Accreditation Scheme

An employed Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) had their licence suspended by their accreditation scheme because EPC lodgement fees were not paid by their employer. If DEAs are ultimately liable for this fee, can they actually be employed at all?
