The CLG finally published 'Requirements for energy performance certificates (EPCs) when marketing homes for sale or let', on Wednesday 3rd October 2008 - three days after the new laws came into effect, and several months after they were really needed by the property industry.

Energy Performance Certificates: Approved methodologies

The CLG has also published (2nd Oct 2008) all the approved methodologies for producing EPCs and Display Energy Certificates (DECs), together with Excel tables listing approved SAP 2005, SBEM, DSM and ORCalc software applications.
